By Air:
Periyar has no airport. But one can take a flight for Cochin, Madurai or Trivandrum.
Cochin Airport is at the distance of 204 km from Periyar. Trivandrum Airport is 270 km from Periyar. And Madurai Airport is 150 Km from Periyar. Periyar is well connected by road with these destinations.

By Rail: To arrive in Periyar, nearby stations are Kottayam (110 km), Trivandrum (270 km), Cochin (204 km), and Madurai (150 km).

Road: Periyar is well connected by surface with the cities like Kumilly, Cochin, Trivandrum, Alleppey, and Madurai.
